Located in Galerie Washington, rue de Berri (8th arrondissement), the Immersive City of Fables moves La Fontaine from book to perceptible landscape.
The scenography favors stage effect rather than flat illustration: tactile sets, lighting plays, and immersive projections structure rooms conceived as small theaters.
Visitors progress from the Author's Office to thematic rooms – the Crow, the Frog, the Wolf, the Lion – then to the Dream Room, the highlight with video projection.

When France’s greatest actors give voice to La Fontaine’s characters. What sets the “Immersive City of Fables” apart is its prestigious cast, giving voice and face to iconic characters. Laurent Stocker, member of the Comédie-Française, embodies Jean de La Fontaine himself, bringing theatrical depth as if personally guiding visitors through his creations.
Alexandre Astier, known for his sharp humor, lends his presence to the Lion, majestic and authoritative, in video sequences capturing the essence of royal fables. Arielle Dombasle, with her ethereal elegance, plays the Wolf, adding a layer of mystery and seduction to tales of cunning and predation.

Charles Berling, as the cunning Fox, excels in witty dialogues, while Marie S’Infiltre brings comic energy to the Frog, bringing to life the character's burlesque ambition. Axelle Saint-Cirel, noted for her powerful voice at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, gives the Crow a lyrical, almost operatic dimension.
Hubert Myon and Félix Junier complete the cast as Dog and Donkey, respectively, delivering performances highlighting themes of loyalty and labor. Filmed in fairy-tale costumes, these actors appear via projections integrated into the sets, creating direct dialogue with the audience.
